SparkFun Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout - ADXL335

The SparkFun Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout is a three-axis motion sensor based on Analog Devices' ADXL335 MEMS accelerometer. Whether you want to measure joint movement detect inclination or sense vibration this board provides a simple analog solution for your wearable electronics. The board comes fully assembled and tested with external components installed. The included 0.1uF capacitors set each axis's bandwidth to 50Hz.The ADXL335 outputs a distinct 0V to 3V analog signal for the X Y and Z axes. While you can easily use these raw signals for basic motion sensing calculating a true tilt angle requires converting the analog voltage to a gravity measurement and applying some basic trigonometry.Not sure which accelerometer is right for you?
