Add flashy functionality to your wearable projects without writing a single line of code! The LilyTiny is a ready-to-use LilyPad microcontroller board built around a miniature ATtiny85. Even though it's as small as some of our LilyPad sensors it delivers out-of-the-box LED animations making it a fantastic educational tool for adding twinkling lights to costumes plushies and garments without a computer or a bulky main board.Pre-Programmed Lighting EffectsThe LilyTiny is pre-programmed to control four LEDs with distinct animations. Just connect your power supply and sew a light to the designated numbered pins (or "petals") to achieve different effects. Pin 0 provides a smooth "breathing" fade while Pin 1 flashes a rhythmic heartbeat pattern. For simpler animations Pin 2 delivers a standard on-and-off blink and Pin 3 offers a random twinkle effect to keep things a little more unique!Sewable E-Textile DesignLilyPad is a wearable e-textile technology developed by Leah Buechley and cooperatively designed by Leah and SparkFun. To ensure these components integrate seamlessly into your wardrobe (no pun intended) LilyTiny relies on some specific hardware choices:Sewable Tabs: LilyTiny features six large conductive connection pads that let you stitch it directly into fabric with conductive thread.Reprogrammable Hardware: Advanced users can easily rewrite the ATtiny85 code using the ICSP programming connectors broken out on the back of the board.Low-Profile Build: Measuring just 20mm in outer diameter on a thin 0.8mm PCB this board lays perfectly flat against your garments.Washable Hardware: Built to withstand real-world use your finished clothing can be washed without damaging the electronics.Whether you need a quick twinkle for a costume or an educational tool for a classroom this miniature microcontroller gives you an incredibly versatile way to light up fabric circuits instantly.
